CA Oil & Gas is serching for Head of Sales and Contracts Department the position will be based in Angola.


Job Description:

The candidate is responsible for pro-actively promoting the company services, solutions and products into the allocated customer base, and specifically: •Meeting or exceeding annual sales and orders plans, which contribute to divisional profit and growth objectives. •Consistently identifying new business opportunities at existing and potential customers, served direct to ensure sustained profitable growth. •Developing and executing sales plans for key accounts that are linked to the organizations market objectives and strategies. •Developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the organizations core competencies and operational capabilities to provide solutions for customers resulting in profitable growth. •Identify and develop relationships with the key decision makers, uncover new business and provide post-sale support. •Responsible to manage sales within the Business Development team (including administrative duties): •Required to make regular visits to clients, understand their requirements and update the opportunities database accordingly. You prepare winning strategies to outwit, out think and out perform the competition. You are responsible for the Siebel CRM system and accuracy of the data, the in-house corporate sales tools as well as self developed tools and scorecards. When visiting clients it may be necessary to facilitate meetings between the client and in-house subject matter and/or technical experts. You guide the estimating team in delivering professional tenders and proposals. In your role you are expected to create business opportunities. As the account manager you will present solutions to audiences from shopfloor to executive level. During these presentations you will perform a needs analysis to understand what is required. Your english language skills are important and all formal letters and e-mails are well composed and clearly written. As account manager you will build solutions, with the help of subject matter experts. You will manage succession planning as part of your growth path within the organisation. You attend training to understand the Honeywell product suite. You network with your peers internationally and locally. With reference to the client, you will handle the majority of incoming enquiries and will be the primary point of contact for our clients. You will also be responsible for cold calling and it is essential that in all communication they will find the company to be informed, responsive and helpful



Skills/Qualifications:

The following technical/functional competencies are required: •Technical competence in the Industrial Automation environment (i.e. Instrumentation and Control Systems) •Related knowledge of application of IT networking, capacity and infrastructure technologies. •Knowledge of processes and procedures related to the sales function. •Proactive and Operate independantly but also be part of a team •Display Management Skills
Nationality: AngolanEngineering qualification / 5 years experience in the Petro Chemical, O&G Business. Be fully computer literate with advanced experience of the MS Office Package. Competent understanding of graphic packages such as Visio and MS Powerpoint.
