CA Oil & Gas is serching for Country Sales Leader the position will be based in South Africa.

SKILLS REQUIRED

· This role should be filled by someone with sales, customer and channel of distribution knowledge within the Region including an understanding of the high tech or security industries. It will also be important for the candidate to be able to handle direct customer interaction, sales presentations and work as a coach and mentor for sales staff.
· Travel would be at least 50% of the time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The position is responsible for maximizing assigned Country sales & profitability including branch offices. Includes active sales responsibility, staff management, staff development and operational compliance

The position of ADI Country Sales Leader will be to drive the sales of ADI within the specified geographic region vs AOP revenue and operating profit targets. This role will currently report directly to the Regional Leader or Sales Leader - ADI, EMEA, however this may change in line with the EMEA structure.

Responsibilities include:
· Lead the sales efforts within the Country through active involvement with each sales team, customers, Product Managers and customer support functions
· Ensure that business goals are met/exceeded, assist Regional Sales/Key Accounts Sales, Branch Managers and Internal Sales in developing strategic plans to improve sales and margin results, enhance performance and provide advice/direction in resolving customer issues and supporting business growth.
· Meet with key customers on a regular basis to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, identification of new sales opportunities, and assist in closing large sales.
· Increase market share by planning and conducting marketing/sales events, developing/enhancing new/current business relationships and liaising with Product Management to maximise vendor support to the business.
· Supervise all customer contact functions within the country, including: ADI sales teams and branches, technical support and logistics/delivery facilities within the geography.
· Hold regular (minimum monthly) Sales reviews with the individual sales teams to review sales performance vs AOP, sales growth and sales action implementation, implement corrective action programmes where needed.
· Actively participate in the EMEA monthly sales forecast process.
· Monitor daily sales orders and invoicing. Track daily invoicing vs target revenue to assess linearity and identify potential upsides or issues vs the monthly revenue/margin target.
· Assist finance in the development of the Annual Operating Plans (AOP) for sales, selling expenses, and operating profit.
· Direct responsibility for achieving or exceeding the AOP budgets throughout the year.
· Work with EMEA and local Product/Channel Marketing to ensure they understand voice of the customer and are selecting products/developing channel plans that meet customer’s needs.
· Develop sales and promotional programs in line with the EMEA and Company process.
· Work with finance to develop sales, gross margin and marketing expense budgets for each sales office or branch.
· Maintain a strong team focus with continuous motivation and leadership


EDUCATIONAL / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


· 5 years experience in Sales Management
· Bachelors degree and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and word are required
· Proficiency in English is essential and one or more European languages is a plus
· Marketing experience and or MBA or equivalent business experience (especially in security, high tech or IT)

Job Description:

The candidate is responsible for pro-actively promoting the company services, solutions and products into the allocated customer base, and specifically: •Meeting or exceeding annual sales and orders plans, which contribute to divisional profit and growth objectives. •Consistently identifying new business opportunities at existing and potential customers, served direct to ensure sustained profitable growth. •Developing and executing sales plans for key accounts that are linked to the organizations market objectives and strategies. •Developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the organizations core competencies and operational capabilities to provide solutions for customers resulting in profitable growth. •Identify and develop relationships with the key decision makers, uncover new business and provide post-sale support. •Responsible to manage sales within the Business Development team (including administrative duties): •Required to make regular visits to clients, understand their requirements and update the opportunities database accordingly. You prepare winning strategies to outwit, out think and out perform the competition. You are responsible for the Siebel CRM system and accuracy of the data, the in-house corporate sales tools as well as self developed tools and scorecards. When visiting clients it may be necessary to facilitate meetings between the client and in-house subject matter and/or technical experts. You guide the estimating team in delivering professional tenders and proposals. In your role you are expected to create business opportunities. As the account manager you will present solutions to audiences from shopfloor to executive level. During these presentations you will perform a needs analysis to understand what is required. Your english language skills are important and all formal letters and e-mails are well composed and clearly written. As account manager you will build solutions, with the help of subject matter experts. You will manage succession planning as part of your growth path within the organisation. You attend training to understand the Honeywell product suite. You network with your peers internationally and locally. With reference to the client, you will handle the majority of incoming enquiries and will be the primary point of contact for our clients. You will also be responsible for cold calling and it is essential that in all communication they will find the company to be informed, responsive and helpful



Skills/Qualifications:

The following technical/functional competencies are required: •Technical competence in the Industrial Automation environment (i.e. Instrumentation and Control Systems) •Related knowledge of application of IT networking, capacity and infrastructure technologies. •Knowledge of processes and procedures related to the sales function. •Proactive and Operate independantly but also be part of a team •Display Management Skills
Nationality: AngolanEngineering qualification / 5 years experience in the Petro Chemical, O&G Business. Be fully computer literate with advanced experience of the MS Office Package. Competent understanding of graphic packages such as Visio and MS Powerpoint.
